Services & Fees
To provide the highest standard of personalized, unhurried care, Balanced Psychiatry operates as an out-of-network practice. By choosing not to contract directly with insurance companies, we are not limited by corporate restrictions on your appointment lengths, treatment modalities, or frequency of visits. This allows us to focus entirely on finding the root cause of your symptoms.
Superbills: Upon request, we can provide you with a monthly itemized receipt (a “Superbill”) containing standard clinical codes. You may submit this to your insurance provider to seek potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your specific plan’s benefits.
At Balanced Psychiatry, we believe in complete transparency and a patient-centered approach to healing. Rather than tying you into recurring monthly subscriptions, we operate on a clear, pay-as-you-go medical model. You only pay for the clinical time and advanced data analysis you actually need.

📝 How Your Journey Begins: Your healing journey starts well before our first face-to-face meeting. Upon scheduling, you will receive the Balanced Psychiatry Extensive Intake Forms. Taking the time to complete these as thoroughly as possible allows us to deeply analyze your history, target specific problematic areas, and lay the groundwork for a highly productive initial consultation.
During our 60 minutes together, we will review this comprehensive baseline alongside your psychiatric history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors. Together, we will map out your immediate clinical needs and determine which advanced functional tracking (such as gut microbiome, hormone mapping, or targeted nutrient panels) will best illuminate the root causes of your symptoms.
Lab Results Review/ Targeted Treatment Planning

Once your specialty lab results are back, we meet for a dedicated strategy session. I will walk you through your biomarker data and present a highly individualized, bio-individual treatment plan. This may include customized botanical protocols, targeted vitamin therapy, metabolic adjustments (such as ketogenic or fasting protocols), or traditional medication management if indicated.
Dedicated time to deeply analyze advanced biomarkers, hair tissue mineral analysis, GI stool/urine tests, or genetic mapping panels.
Follow-Up Consultation & Medication Management

Designed for established patients to monitor progress, optimize supplement dosages, manage prescriptions through an integrative lens, and fine-tune your healing protocol as your vitality returns.
Included At No Extra Charge: Between-Visit Messaging
We believe that true healing requires continuous, reasonable support as you implement your new protocols. To ensure you feel confident between appointments, all active patients receive access to our secure portal for intermittent messaging support at no additional fee.

- Response Window: We review and respond to routine clinical troubleshooting or administrative questions within 24 to 48 hours.
- A Note on Safety: This portal is intended for non-urgent protocol adjustments and communication. It is not monitored 24/7. In the event of a clinical crisis or psychiatric emergency, please call 988 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ advanced notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will incur a standard fee of $50
Controlled Substance Policy
For your safety and clinical compliance, prescriptions for controlled substances require consistent medical monitoring. Refills for these specific medications will only be processed during a scheduled face-to-face appointment. Emergency or phone-in refills will not be issued between visits.
